If you've ever gotten an email from me, or perhaps one of my newsletters, you may know that one of my go-to sign offs is:

Stay Feisty and Fabulous

When I first came up with this, I was worried I would offend folks. I wondered - is this gender neutral? Would it resonate for gentlemen, or fall flat?

Over the years I've been delighted to see so many folks tell me how much they loved it. While I may have a hunch as to why, I thought I would share with you what it means to me.

FEISTY:

At the core of it, I always describe myself as feisty. My husband, would 100% agree with this - though perhaps not always in the positive light that I see it in! haha I digress. The feisty is the fire within us all that is willing to challenge status quo. The feisty is what ignites and enables change, and is the power we all have to demand something better than what we have today.

FABULOUS:

I associate fabulous with letting who you are be out and proud. The point is that whatever it is that makes you unique and powerful is exactly why you are fabulous just the way you are. I used to really associate this word with the LGBTQ+ community - and was always (and still am) inspired by those willing to show up and show out especially when it goes against dominant culture or social norms.

So when you stay feisty and fabulous - you are unstoppable. Keep the fire stoked, and use your superpowers to create the change you want to see, not just in your own life but in service of a tomorrow that excites you.

If you want to bring some feisty and fabulous to your life, your team or your upcoming event then reach out to book me as a speaker or leadership coach.
