Live Coaching Kathleen 4 (of 6): Breaking Through the Fear of an Uncertain Future

As you may have caught on, I’ve been sharing with you some bonus episodes on The Unlock Lab podcast. It’s a series of six live coaching sessions with my client Kathleen.
If you’ve been listening you know that there’s been some very strong headwinds to determine the path forward in her career that she wanted to go all in on. Up until this point, she was feeling like she was very much at fork in the road, but somewhere between session 3 and session 4, ‘something clicked’ - as she put it. YAY!!! We celebrated all of it because the hardest work my clients do is in the integration and digestion of our conversation afterwards, and in the choices they make when nobody's watching. I especially loved the connection Kathleen made between celebrating and manifesting.
While in this session she acknowledged that things shifted, she also admitted that in the last session she was so ready to exit the work and call it quits. When you tune in, you’ll find out what kept her hanging in there. I invited her to reflect on what she saw as the contributing factors to her shift between sessions, because when you can name how you got out of the funk, you can reach for those tools the next time.
Spoiler alert; Kathleen was ready to take the next step in building her own business, which she first articulated as being able to identify the right messages. But right away she knew there was something deeper than this, which was creating a block. This block was a mix of limiting beliefs and feeling like a fraud.
Kathleen’s desire was to talk about her work with integrity and in a way that doesn’t feel like a ‘vague abyss’. The first thing we had to do was steer clear of industry language, and start at the deeper foundation of where her skills for her astrology business started from. It might surprise you to hear that the first story she told was when she was three years old! When you listen to this part of the conversation you will start to see why going into the depth of your life journey will eventually lead you to build what you WANT to build, versus what you think you SHOULD build. Hearing Kathleen’s points of connection may help you in seeing how your life and career stories come together in finding a single thread.
