Live Coaching Kathleen 6 (of 6): How our success metrics are defined, and the emotional needs behind them

Whether or not you’ve been tuning into the bonus episodes of live coaching with Kathleen on The Unlock Lab podcast, this final session has incredible insights I think you would really benefit from.

We’ve been on this journey of Kathleen looking at all the things that have come up as she’s evaluated her career options of corporate and hanging out her own shingle. In this session we started with her discomfort of taking money for something she felt to be a calling, as opposed to taking a consistent check to do a job she didn’t truly enjoy.

So while we started with looking at how she viewed her value and worth, it turned into an exploration of what she was taught about success and money at an early age. She started to connect dots between the model she was shown, and the way she made decisions. The real ah ha came towards the end where she could see that at the very core of her discomfort was not about money at all. It was about an unmet need for emotional presence and how she had to make sense of this at an early age. I mean HOT DAMN, if that’s not an unlock I don’t know what is.

I hope you tune in for this one above all else because unpacking our relationship with money and success has the potential to liberate us and get to the truth of what we believe. As with all of these sessions, I always walk away new questions to ask myself, and I think you will too.

Thank you again to Kathleen for her honesty, bravery and desire to be of service not just to herself, but to you. What a gift that we get to take in and even pass along to others.

Cheers to your next unlock,
